Salted Caramel Apple Bars.

Today, I made something crazy good from Sally’s. She is really my favourite baker: no matter what I choose to bake from her blog, it turns out fantastic. If not that’s without doubt my own fault. Like this time, I left the cake inside the oven just a little too long and the streusel top got slightly burned here and there. Well, whatever, it’s still crazy good. We are practically obsessing about this dessert right now. The caramel sauce is to die for. Honest. I could eat it one spoonful a time in one sit.

I have to admit that I had some difficulty while making the sauce. The sugar just wouldn’t melt so I had to add a little water as catalyst. :p




I just had to paste another photo of this bowl. It’s awesome. Naughty lunch 🙂
